Hello Families,
Â
There are few things better than sharing a story with your child. Books and storytelling open the door to new words, ideas, and wonderful memories.
Â
Simple Ways to Add Story Magic This Week:
Â
1. The “One Story a Day” Challenge
Choose a regular time to read—a bedtime story, morning cuddle, or even during dinner prep. Little and often makes the biggest difference!
Â
2. DIY Puppets
Use socks, spoons, or paper to make quick puppets. Help your child retell a favourite story (or make up a new adventure!).
Â
3. Let Kids Lead the Story Invite
Invite your child to “read” the story using just the pictures, or to finish a sentence in their own words.
