Hello Wonderful Families,
The holidays are a wonderful time to play with language, practice new words, and enjoy each other’s company. Here are a few festive games for all ages:
1. “I Spy”—Holiday Edition

“I spy something red and round” (bauble, apple)
“I spy something that sparkles” (tinsel, snowflake, smile!)
2. Christmas “Charades”

Write simple holiday words or actions (star, reindeer, wrapping a gift) on slips of paper.
Take turns acting out and guessing.
3. Silly Santa Stories

Start a story together: “On Christmas Eve, Santa’s sleigh landed on a…”
Let your child finish the sentence.
Keep passing the story back and forth for as long as you like!
Great for: Building vocabulary, listening, and confidence—plus sharing a laugh.
Want more language play?

With holiday cheer,
