Hello Wonderful Families,
This season, itās kindness and connection that matter most.
Here are some simple crafts and card ideasāno fancy supplies required!
1. Homemade Holiday Cards

Fold any paper in half.
Let your child draw, colour, or add stickers.
Help them write āHappy Holidays!ā or āThinking of you!ā
Deliver to a neighbour, friend, or family memberāthese simple cards mean so much.
2. Recycled Decorations

Use old magazines, packaging, or scrap paper to cut out shapes (stars, trees, hearts).
String them together for a unique garland or mobile.
3. āKindness Couponsā

Help your child make ācouponsā for kind acts (a hug, help with chores, reading a story).
Give them to family members as gifts.
Ā
4. Repurpose Artwork

Ever wondered what to do with all your child's drawings, paintings and artwork?
Repurpose them into Christmas cards - fold in half and use as a card or leave unfolded and just write the message on the back.
I used my children's artworks to send out as thank you notes for gifts they received over Christmas.
This is such a good way to reuse and share their artwork with grandparents and extended family, plus it makes us not feel bad just throwing it away.
Ā
Remind your child: Itās the thought that countsāevery handmade gift is special.
