Hello Wonderful Families,

December is here! For many, it’s a season of sparkle and excitement—but we know it can also feel overwhelming or a little tough. However you celebrate, we hope these simple ideas bring comfort, fun, and togetherness to your home.

1. Winter Story Picnic

Spread a blanket on the floor, gather a few favourite books (holiday or winter-themed if you have them), and enjoy a family “picnic” indoors.

Let your child choose the stories.
Bring along a snack or cup of cocoa!

2. Paper Snowflakes

All you need is paper and scissors! Fold, snip, and unfold to reveal your snowflake.

Decorate windows or hang them with string.
For little ones, let them colour or sticker their snowflakes instead.

3. “Thankful Garland”

Cut strips of paper. Each day, write or draw something you’re grateful for.

Loop and tape the strips together to make a growing garland.

Why it works:These activities are about togetherness, not perfection. Every giggle and scribble counts!
