Celebrating Progress - Small Wins & Family Encouragement

Hello Families,  

 

January is almost over, and it’s the perfect time to pause and celebrate progress—yours and your child’s! Every new word, brave try, or helpful moment is a reason to be proud.

 

🌟 Proud Moments Jar

  • Place a jar in your home and invite everyone to add a note each week with something they’re proud of (“I tried a new food,” “I shared my toy,” “I wrote my name!”).

  • At the end of the month, read the notes together and celebrate each small win.

 

🏅 Star of the Week

  • Make a simple “Star of the Week” badge or certificate for your child to decorate.

  • Talk about what made them shine this week—big or small!

 

💬 Kind Words for Parents

Remember to celebrate yourself, too! Parenting and supporting your child’s learning is hard work—give yourself a gold star as well.
